Overview
Our proprietor, Jim Lynch, founded Dahl and Company in 1980. He partnered with his mother, Jessie Warrington, and together they named the company after Eva Dahl, the family matriarch and Jim’s beloved grandmother. Over the past 40 years Jim has brought myriad products to the public including, but not limited to, bespoke furniture. Along the way he has honed his woodworking skills to a fine point. That, combined with his insistence on sustainability, makes him a master at his craft. Jim often finds inspiration in traditional pieces. He likes to bring a modern aesthetic to old designs, resulting in pieces that are not only functional, but also beautiful.
