Overview

I began collecting rocks/minerals/specimens at an early age and would visit the Peabody Museum in Boston. After moving to Maine in the early 1970s, I would go rock hunting at the quarries and mines, making friends with the local miners. I started cutting cabochons and later took jewelry fabrication and stone setting lessons from Addison Saunders. Nature in all its forms is my inspiration.
