Overview
We are a worker-owned coop making artisan tempeh that is sourced from organic soybeans grown in Maine. We developed a proprietary fermentation process that eliminates the use of plastic bags in the fermentation process, so we are the most sustainably made tempeh in the U.S. Tempeh is a delicious, fermented plant protein that is nutrient dense, packed with protein (16 g), and full of fiber, calcium, iron, and all the B vitamins. It is versatile to cook with (absorbs flavors like meat) and made from just 3 simple ingredients: soybeans, vinegar, and starter culture.
